1. All Android One device will be like a Nexus device
2. Play Automatic installs
3. Automatic Updates to the latest software updates quicker and better
- In hardware, things are different, on the software front as well there is difference too. Instead of depending on OEMs for software updates, updates will be available directly from Google, the same a Nexus or Google Play Edition device gets their updates. Of course, the software experience will be stock Android, with full Google apps support. OEMs will be able to add locally-relevant apps to their devices, but through Google Play.
The Device manufacturers in INDIA like Micromax, Karbonn, Spice will be the first manufacturer to the New Android One Devices. The Preview Device by Micromax Shown at GOOGLE I/O Image is below
This is a Google Initiative to remove the devices by the OEMs which are still running on Android 4.0.4 and Android 2.3 without updates
This looks a lot like Android Silver, but given its focus on developing markets like India and Asian Countries, we believe that Android One is a initiative aimed at raising the standard of quality at the bottom end Android Devices.
